My Lunch Break

My view from the Pho Vi Vietnamese Restaurant across for GCS Pomona. I order a sandwich.

ONE OF THEM DAYS!!!!!

I was going to Dj at our GCS store in Santa Ana store with H2 and Gzuz and well i was going to pick up Gzuz, I got a FLAT TIRE. Drove on the flat tire to a 711 to buy a can of that fixaflat and used the can and went to put air in the tire the tire blow up...
I had to use a spare tire. I hate ridding on a spare.
So we get to Santa Ana; hook up the system and I forget to bring the serato vinyl.
That wasn't it, someone really close to me was not talking to me. I guess were not friends anymore!!!
Here is a picture I took the next day well i was waiting on getting a tire replaced at Tire KING in Ontario.
One good thing that came out from this was Gzuz gave me a tone of new Drum and bass and some dubstep.

Went to my Old hood in Ontario to get some meat for a BBQ. If your looking for a great meat market try EL Toro in Ontario.
This place is always busy but wroth the wait. Buy the Carne asada and Pechoga de pollo.
The service, price, and selection here is very good.

My Pomona Queen

Down the street from my work I like to stop by our local friendly corner called DBA256 Gallery.Wine Bar. We call it the DBA For short!
Try the Pomona Queen, it on draft and has a great treats. It is one of my favorite beers at the DBA.

Hello Kitty Cupcakes

So LIZ and I went to Tiana's Birthday Party at the Blue Velvet Lounge. This place was really nice.
Tiana got these cupcakes for DOTS. They were Red Velvet cakes with Hello Kitty ring stamps.
Happy Birthday Tiana.

Liz had the Machaca burrito

My first time trying Manuel's El Tepeyac Mexican food.
This place is legendarily. I remember hearing about this place ever since I was a kid. I've past by this place several times but never stop to try there famous burrito, The Hollenbeck burrito. This Burrito is the BIGGEST burrito I have ever ever seen.
I had 2 cheese enchiladas, rice and beans "my favorite dish". Which I did not enjoy. I'm a big fan of enchiladas but the sauce can't teats like mole and Manuel's has that teat. I should have went with a burrito.
Liz had the Machaca burrito; which was huge. Machaca burrito is made with shredded beef and scrambled egg mixed with beans. Seems more like a breakfast burrito but its delicious.
She had gave me a bite and it was so good.
These burrito can feed a family of 4. You have to eat them with a folk and knife. Liz only made a small dent in her burrito. So we took it to go.

Location: Its fine as long as you find parking close to the restaurant and it's a bit small inside so you may have to seat outside on the picnic tables, like we did.
Price: $9 to $23 for a burrito. I bit high but but it can feed up to 4 people.
Over all: El Tepeyac is good but I had order the wrong thing. I will try it again but trust me I'm going to get a Manuel Special or the machaca burrito the next time I'm there. I'll tell all my friends about Manuel's and i will return.

Audiotistic 2009

Here are some pictures from Audiotistic 2009. I ran into so many friends like Danny, La Wendy, Jose From Radio, H2, RO RO, Hectro, Sofie and Hien. I got to hang out with THE COOL KIDDS back stage and party with the VIP's. Where I got to meet The Roots, CHROMEO, and Efren Ramirez from Napoleon Dynamite. I got to enjoy Chromeo, and Kill The Noise set.
Over all I had a great Time.

My First SUDAY Off in a long time

So I was off on Sunday and I wanted to go out and enjoy my Sunday. I called up MuthaFckn_Sef and Hugo (my BOSS) and told them that we should get some breakfast. They both said "OK, where?". I had found this place well searching best pancakes in LA. They said okay, lets go. Soon we were off to The Griddle Cafe in West Hollywood. They're known for there breakfast.
So Sef and his little BIG brother Angle joined us, along with Hugo and family. We found the location and park the SUV's and walked through the back of the restaurant. We got seated really fast, with no waiting. The place was busy and load. We got seated and order me some OJ and pulled out the camera.
I had the "BANANA NANA". They are cooked with brown sugar-baked bananas cooked inside their butter milk batter. Oh so good, but its 3 HUGE pancakes. The pancakes are bigger than your head and failed with bananas. I shared my pancakes with Sef's brother. I also had the Chicago Charlie's Scramble. The scramble comes with 3 eggs, Italian sausage, potatoes, bacon, bell peppers, mozzarella cheeses, garlic, basil, and onions. Man the portions can feed 2 people.
Hugo had the Chicago Charlie's Scramble, with some of everybodies pancakes.
Letty had the BluesBerry Pancakes. Blueberry pancakes filled and topped with blueberry SOURCREAM yogurt and powdered sugar. I had a bite and it was really good. It looks funny because of the yogurt topping, but it was delicious.
Sef had the Hager Pangs. 3 eggs, Ham and Hashbrowns.
Well were eating Dr. Christopher "Chris" Duncan Turk from SCRUB walked in to eat. I wanted to ask him if we can take a picture but I didn't want to disturb him.
Location: Nice, Dine inside or outside. Parking is free and available in the Rite-Aid parking lot. A people watcher spot. Pet and bike friendly.
Price: It's a bit pricey for breakfast, but it's wroth it! Your looking at $10 to $15 plates. Drinks are $2.50 to $5.25.
Overall: Portions are really HUGE, can feed two. There was a wait outside by 11am, so try to get there before 10:30am and you'll be seated right away. Bigger groups are harder to get in, but we got in fast and it was 6 of us. The staff is great and friendly, although they forgot Pablo's order of eggs. But our server made sure he got his eggs fresh and ready to eat. I also notice that people came in dressed like they just woke up from a one-night stand. We seen women dressed in high heels and mini skirts for breakfast. Fix your make-up and hair before going out for breakfast :) Fantastic menu, very unique and original.
I got to say it was the best breakfast i had in LA.
I'm making myself hungry just writing about it.

After a huge breakfast and paying the huge bill we had to walk off the huge amount of calories. So we went to the Griffith Observatory. I've never been here but some of my favorite movies were filmed here.

The Presets At The Glass House In Pomona

All Day we had people stopping by to check out our shop. They were all in town to watch The Presets play. It was The Presets last stop in the US and the end of there tour.
Most of the groups fans that had came in, had just came from Coachella.
Thanks to the crew at the glass house for a great show.
